The objective of the assignment is two-fold:
- Mapping of the supply chain for paddy to identify the E&S risks and the gaps between practices and guidelines such as the ILO, UNDP, PROPARCO exclusions and SA 8000 requirements, with focus on the environment and social aspects of deforestation and child labor;
- Development of 2-3 sourcing opportunities to improve, secure and sustain GRC agricultural product procurement.
